| CGC Prep |
| The Foundation Course is for competitive obedience. The focus is on a prompt, attentive and technically correct response to obedience commands. This class is needed for the beginning competition dog and handler.
Admission Criteria: Most dogs successfully completing Beginner Obedience may be eligible for this course. Dogs should be mature and calm enough in a group setting to focus and learn some of the more advanced skills. |
| Teaches all skills to compete in AKC Rally, Novice, Advanced and Excellent.
Admission Criteria: This is for dogs who have successfully completed the Foundation |
| For dogs 5-6 months or older. This is the first level after the puppy course. Standard manners are taught.
Admission Criteria: No prior behaviors are required. |
| Beginner Obedience (Manners) |
| Emphasis is on more reliable response to obedience commands under more distracting circumstances. A well-mannered, obedient companion is the goal of this class. Graduates may be eligible to take the Canine Good Citizen (CGC) test after the course.
Admission Criteria: Most dogs successfully completing Beginner Obedience are eligible. General admission criteria is a dog who can respond to the verbal commands sit, down and come. When walking with the dog, he should walk on a leash without excessive pulling. |
| Foundation Obedience/Rally |
| For Puppies 2-5 months of age. Learn how to teach your puppy to be a good family pet and good neighbor. Increasing the puppy's self confidence as well as basic care and safe management of puppies. Only Gentle Methods are used! |
| Beginning Foundation for puppies and dogs of any age. Novice and Advanced for dogs and their owners wanting to continue Agility training for fun or competition. Drop-in Agility Train on your own time. Current students only. |

| Clicker Training |
| This innovative training method is a fun and gentle method to train dogs and puppies.
With this technique, a dog and puppy can be trained basic manners to competition dog sports. Admission Criteria: Any dog or puppy that likes toys or food. |
| Control Unleashed |
| This Class is for dogs that need to learn to get ready for live or competition. The program is based on the book Control Unleashed by Leslie McDevitt. Reading the CU book is a prerequisite for attending the class, so you will know exactly what to expect, what to bring, and what to work on at home. |
